Is it okay to use cansten thrush cream during pregnancy?

I was told by my doctor to use canesten to treat a thrush infection in early pregnancy because the infection could be detrimental later on in the pregancy. So short answer is yeah go for it.Is it okay to use cansten thrush cream during pregnancy?

I reckon there's a leaflet that comes with that. I also reckon there's a phone number on that leaflet. At the very least there'll be an address that you can call directory enquiries with. Phone up the company who makes it.
I have used it twice under the instruction of my doctor and the pessary too.
yes its fine to use i have been on a lot of antibiotics and this has caused bad thrush. the doctor perscribed me canesten internal cream and i have to say i found this the best treatment i have ever used as it goes in and evenly spreads it don't have to dissolve like a pessary. beware though as my chemist refused to sell it to me and i had to go to the doctor for a perscription for it. chemists don't have a clue half the time.
I had thrush throughout my 1st pregnancy. OMG I thought I'd go nuts with the scratching. I finally told the midwives and they smacked me lol and gave me canestan. I used it for months. So yes you can use it when pregnant.

yas honey i had thrush on monday i went to the doctors and he gave me the cream and pessery tablet to insert into my vagina. he said its fine! im 39 weeks due friday. good luck
