A few women who have had children before recommended this cream to me. I ordered it and when i opened the container it was a pinkish cream that smelled like Johnson's baby lotion. Has anyone used this before? Did it work for you?Does Mother's Friend Cream work to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy?
My doctor told me its pretty much genetics, age, and the about of weight you started at and gain.
^Besides the weight none of those are really changeable. She said just use a moisturized for the itching and if you get stretch marks deal with then afterwards with exfoliating creams and such.
Most of the people that say the oils and stuff ';REALLY WORK!'; are the genetically lucky ones that just werent going to get stretch marks anyways.
Heres something that really worked well for me afterwards to help the stretch marks fade:
Try a cream with Alpha-hydroxy acid in it. It really works. I had my baby three months ago and had pretty bad stretch marks on my stomach and sides and decided to try this because my doctor suggested it but I wanted to see if I was really working or if they were just fading on their own accord. So I only put the alpha hydroxy acid on my stomach. Well my stomach stretch marks are now skin colored and faded and my side ones are still angry purple. It really worked!
If you just wanna try it out a cheap one you can get it Walgreens Nature's Finest Alpha Hydroxy Face Cream (thats what I use and its only $5.99 at walgreens)
Its like exfoliating your skin but since its chemical it goes slightly deeper and works better (not too deep. Still completely safe)
Also it may sting a little when you first put it on but since it really works I deal with it. Its not that bad.Does Mother's Friend Cream work to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy?
Well I ask my midwife what are way to prevent my stretch mark and she said there is nothing work, not even lotions, only the way they go by themselves to fade.
