What is the best cream during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks?

k, there are a lot of creams out there, but personally I used good old fashioned petroleum jelly, and I used it religiously day and nite. I went from 110 lbs to 180, and only have a ';stretch'; on each side, which is barely noticable.

A lot has to do with your genes, but drink plenty of water to keep your skin more elastic.

At any rate, congratulations. What is the best cream during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks?
stri-vectin sd. really expensive (like 135.00/tube) but it works. What is the best cream during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks?
Cocoa Butter! They have it at the Body Shop
aloe vera cream plus vaseline plus glicerine, on proportions 2:2:1.
cocoa butter.
only put on about 30 pounds
coco butter plus on the bottle it says for stress marks.
It really has a lot to do with genetics.

My mother has had 6 pregnancies, and not a single stretch mark to show for them. All my aunties and cousins on my mothers side have the ';no stretch mark'; gene.

She told me to slather myself in vitamin E cream during pregnancy (which I did, morning and night). Well. I have one child and from the navel down it looks like I've been mauled by a big cat. I've nicknamed them ';my tiger stripes'; (can't get rid of them, so I've had to learn to have a sense of humour about them!) ;)
there is nothing you can do-of you are going to get them you get them. it's predetermined by your genes. you can bathe in coco butter and it won't help. don't worry, stretch marks are the ultimate sign of womanhood.
pure cocoa butter
Skin types are genetic and if you are prone to get them they will happen and if you are not then they won't. Some creams can help lessen them but not much.
the cocoa butter especially for stretch marks should be what you use. original cocoa butter don't do much, it just moisturizes the skin, and that does not help with stretch marks when you're pregnant. you gain weight so fast and in so little time that your skin can't keep up with it. but yeah i used to stretch mark cocoa butter and it didn't stop it, but it helped a lot! i gained 60 lbs. when i was pregnant, and i have maybe 3 stretch marks..if that.
Cocoa butter is excellent
HI! You need to try Strivectin SD. It's a miracle cream for stretch marks and wrinkles. It's made by Klein Becker go here to read more about it

But it is expensive. I have been using it for awhile. I now buy them in bulk, and get a better price and I sell samples to friends and other internet users. I have an auction on yahoo. Just go to

Go to Walmart and get pure vitamin E oil. Or you can get a aloe vera plant. My ex husband actually grew a plant for me. We opened the leaf to get the liquid on the inside of it and rubbed it on my stomach. I still got a few marks. But you can bearly see them. I got a lot of compliments that my marks are practically invisable.
