contrary to what some may claim, stretch marks occur to deep beneath the skin's surface to have anything you put on your skin help to prevent them. anyone who used a product and got no marks was not going to get them anyway, i know plenty of women (myself included) who gained a normal amount of weight and slathered on reams only to find themselves covered in big, angry marks.
they are genetic, so you will either get them or not no matter what you try to do. that being said, making sure you stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water can help your skin be more elastic and if you get stretch marks that itch, some creams may help to soothe them.Is there a stretchmark cream that really works that is safe suring pregnancy?
Coco butter along with vitamin e cream. Is there a stretchmark cream that really works that is safe suring pregnancy?
Don't gain alot of excess weight and lotion up cause if you're gonna get them you can't get rid of them. I haven't seen anything that stops them besides just not getting too large.

the other ones dont works as well !!! i used the one in the link and i have no stretch marks!!
I use Palmer's lotion. It says it's good for stretch marks, but there really isn't anything you can do for stretch marks. If you get them, you get them, and that's that. They will go away after birth. If you gain your weight at a steady pace, you should be able to avoid stretch marks. I use the lotion more for the itching, as my skin has to stretch, it itches. Luckily, I've had a steady weight gain, and no stretch marks.
Good luck!

i have heard paw paw cream is suppose to be fantastic
Cocoa Butter is good to use, but it won't keep you from having stretch marks. Some women's bodies are simply more prone to them than others. Using the lotion is one thing to do, but watching what you eat is an even better method. Avoid lots of starches and excessive eating, in general. Keep yourself hydrated and eat healthily.
Absolutely, cocoa butter that is specially made to be applied to stretch marks. My friend rubbed it on her belly everyday during her pregnancy and she didn't get one stretch mark. It comes in like a little jar, you can get it at any store like Duane Reade, Rite-Aid, CVS, etc. and it says which one is for stretch marks on the front.
Anything with cocoa butter works great. Use after your shower or bath and apply to your belly 2-3 times a day.

No, there's no stretch mark creams that work, some lotions make it feel better when it is stretching and itchy, but they do not prevent it. Only prevention is not too quickly gaining weight. Gain the recommended amount per week and eat a healthy diet with the right amount of omega fatty acids that lead to skin health.
And of course it works for some people... they weren't going to get them if they used the lotion or not. lol
no. i slathered on Palmers stretch mark cream with cocoa butter %26amp; vitamin e %26amp; collagen %26amp; elastin, etc... 2-3 x a day from week 6 and still started getting stretch marks by week 20, and i hadn't even gained any weight by then! i also drank tons of water %26amp; took vitamins %26amp; an extra omega supplement.
if you're going to get them, you're going to get them. they happen way below the surface, so nothing topical will help at all. unfortunatley.
drink lots of buttermilk
