Is ice cream from ice cream trucks safe during pregnancy?

My midwife said it is not as they are covered in bacteria. Is ice cream from ice cream trucks safe during pregnancy?
Yes it is as long as the seller is reputable. If you would allow your kids to eat it then it will be fine for you. Most ice cream trucks has proper coolers inside to keep the ice cream from spoiling. Of course if the ice cream looks strange then don't eat it, but other than that there is no issue. Is ice cream from ice cream trucks safe during pregnancy?
whoever said it was unpastorized .... LIED. all dairy products sold in the united states is pastorized... unless stated otherwise. The ice cream trucks and hte ice cream shops all use the same machines and mix to make soft serve ice cream. That mix is ALWAYS pastorized. If in doubt... ask the driver.
Yes... I don't see why it wouldn't be. Ice cream that come from trucks is produced by the ice cream companies. (Mostly, I think.) So unless you're allergic to peanuts or something that may be in the ice cream, then I don't see a problem, really.
m midwife has said its not but my mum has eaton it in all her pregnancies and theres been no complications. its because its unpasturized
