my mom has 3 kids and never got a single stretch mark. Im trying to continue that legacy.Does anyone know of any good stretch mark cream to use for pregnancy.?
Well I just had my 1st baby 4 %26amp; 1/2 months ago %26amp; my belly got HUGE!!!! But not a single stretch mark. I religiously used Pure Simplicity Stretch Mark Solution with 100% Cocoa from Bath %26amp; Body Works. A 5 oz tub goes for about $12. Use it when you wake up, after you shower, before you go to bed %26amp; any time in between. Its not at all greasy like some of the others I tried %26amp; it smells great!Does anyone know of any good stretch mark cream to use for pregnancy.?
If you're one of the lucky ones then you won't get stretch marks. Stretch marks are scars caused by your skin stretching. There is Cocoa Butter and other mosturizing creme you can rub on your tummy but it won't really help you prevent from getting stretch marks. It happens naturally!
If your Mum hasn't got any then hope its genetic!! lol. Anything with Vitamin E in it would be good, slap it on and keep your fingers crossed. Even if you do, they do fade to nothing anybody else would notice. Enjoy.
I used Palmers Cocoa Butter stretch mark cream which i purchased at Motherhood Maternity. I slathered that stuff on twice daily and didnt get stretch marks until I was 30 weeks.
Stretch marks may be unavoidable, though. Be prepared for that as well :)
But it sounds like you have a heads up on it as it is said that stretch marks are more commonly hereditary, and your mother didnt have them, so you have a great chance of avoiding them yourself!
The Palmers Cocoa Butter cream smells delicious too!!
Congrats and good luck. I have my fingers crossed you're one of the lucky few that dont get 'em!
coco butter. I used it and have not one stretch mark.
don't forget your buttocks and your hip area.
i tried everything and still got em! I think its pretty much if you gonna get em you will. Maybe since your mom didnt then you wont. I used palmers strech mark cream though and I liked it alot. Good luck!
Cocoa Butter, my lil sis used it every day, didn't get one stretch mark.
Use Johnson and johnson baby lotion.. apply generously to the stomach every night before you sleep...This is to give moisture and soften the skin at the stomach to allow it to stretch without give it stretch marks...
i hear its hereditary...I got stretchmarks like crazy on my butt and behind my knees with my first. and some around my belly button. I used cocoa butter cream the whole pregnancy. With this 2nd one, I got 1 on my breast, and no where else..its weird.
I've used Strivectin for my stretchmarks but not allowed to use during pregnancy, so maybe it helped firm my skin. Just don't scratch your skin, cuz scratching causes marks.
A large percentage of pregnant women get stretch marks on their stomach, and more than 75% of women develop stretch marks around the waist, stomach, upper legs, butt and breast during pregnancy. However, even though there are creams to help these stretch marks, pregnant women are advised against using them. These creams have a high vitamin A content, which can really affect a developing fetus.
Nevertheless, there is now a effective remedy for pregnancy stretch marks. Belli Stretchmark Minimizing Cream is a multi-enriched treatment specially formulated for stretchmarks. The cream features darutoside, a healing plant molecule shown in research to help minimize the appearance of stretchmarks.
