i'm 15 wks pregnant and I was eating ice cream last night when I started to read the ingredients and said it contains egg (i dont know if its raw or not). I tought only home made ice cream contained egg, and i have been eating this brand of ice cream the whole way though pregnancy.

if its only the brand that has it then i would switch to a different kind just to be on the safe side. other than that you can eat ice cream all you want, in moderation of course cause its still considered junk food i guess, cause its a good source of calcium that your baby needs plenty of. hope this helps some. good luck!!!Pregnancy and ice cream?
It will not effect because there are preservatives to help keep the eggs away from rotting. It's alright only if you have stored your ice-cream in the freezer. Don't worry, calm down, don't put too much pressure on your baby.

not all homemade icecream has eggs. but custard ice cream does. and they cook the custrad to make te icecream. but ask your doc they would know or just change to somethng eles. keep reading those lables
